Quick Tips for Using COLUMBUS
File Conversion Tools
COLUMBUS supports file conversion tools for several third party data file formats. Many of the conversion tools are supported directly within COLUMBUS and can be accessed from the Files | Convert 3rd Party Files menu command. Files supported include: Ashtech 'o' files, Leica Ski files, and Trimble SSF, SSK, WAVE, and TGO files.
In 2003 we began writing stand-alone file conversion tools in order to make them available as soon as they were ready. By separating these conversion tools from COLUMBUS, we are able to get them to market faster and update them more frequently.
New and existing file conversion tools are continually being developed and enhanced. Below is a list of file conversion tools that are currently available for download from our web site.
